Contemporary sculpture in metals and other materials

The course is based on the individual construction of a sculpture, designed by the artist together with the students, developing the idea of space and object in a sculptural form, where the fundamental nodes will provide the basic knowledge to be used in the development of one’s own path.

The student will address the classic problems of sculptural manufacturing, the three-dimensional rendering of a designed object and the ability to understand the materials and their use.

The course is aimed at students of any level, it is not strictly necessary to have particular knowledge in the world of sculpture but it is preferable that the student has a minimum of experience in the use of tools. The student’s interest and curiosity will be to try their hand at individual sculptural research.
